Kroton Broncho Bronchoscopy Trainer (END003)
KROTON BRONCHO, a training phantom device for bronchoscopy, has been produced to offer added training value for both young doctors and experienced medical practitioners. We have accurately reproduced the shape of the respiratory system. The innovative module structure allows for the development of interesting training scenarios and performing specific medical procedures. Materials used to make the respiratory system model were selected to precisely mirror human anatomy. They were mainly made of carefully selected silicone materials to ensure that the training will be as realistic as actual procedures. Colours of the components ensure realistic colour reproduction during training. The simulator allows to practice both on a healthy and pathological anatomy. Practicing with KROTON BRONCHO improves Your skills, which directly translates into less pain and trauma for patients. If a doctor initially trains on our simulator, it gives them the confidence and skills necessary to complete the real-life procedure faster and more efficiently. The trainer allows you to learn the forceps biopsy of endobronchial changes (tumors, bronchial polyps). Imitations of endobronchial changes are made of materials that faithfully reproduce real pathological changes. They are easily replaced with new ones.
The phantom allows you to practice needle biopsies, i.e. lymph node biopsies. A special element attached to the trachea is used for this. Replaceable cartridges allow you to perform exercises of a given procedure many times. Thanks to the modular design, it is possible to place the foreign body anywhere.
Trainer components:
- The bronchial tree has the shape and size of the human bronchial tree. Inside, tracheal cartilages are visible. The kit includes modules that allow you to change the normal anatomy to the anatomy with pathological changes;
- A life-size head made of specially selected silicone with a natural skin color. Anatomical structures that can be distinguished in this part of the phantom: nasal sinuses, maxilla and mandible with teeth, tongue, pharyngeal uvula, epiglottis;
- Trachea phantom is equipped with two trachea models. One model reflects the correct anatomy. The second is equipped with a port where pathological changes are placed for biopsy practice;
- The body frame is used to fix all elements of the trainer in the desired position. It imitates the patient's supine position;
- Cover - The main task of the cover is to prevent direct view of the inside of the phantom during the exercise. The practitioner is unable to orientate himself in the current position of the endoscope tip;
- Foreign bodies such as: pins, tablets, balls;
- Lubricant;
- Organizer for elements inserted into the trainer;
- User manual.

All parts of the trainer can be detached from the body, making it easy to clean.
The set does not include the vision track, bronchoscope, monitor, accessories needed to practice treatments. The phantom is designed to be used with training endoscopes.
